Born to Explore: Hawaii

Headed to Hawaii today for another Born to Explore shoot. I’m looking forward to trying out my new Sony NEX-FS100U and lenses while shooting surfers, seals, and ukuleles.

I just bought a Sony NEX-FS100U camera, lenses, and some other toys. I wanted to start the year off right with a super35mm sized sensor, a variable ND filter, and a whole lot of media.
Need Something Begins Production

This was my first day shooting Darron Burgos’s short film Need Something. The shoot went well, naturalistic lighting and handheld camera moves make this a fun project for me.
Born to Explore: Morocco

Morocco has been a great trip so far. While shooting, we went into a small Berber village in the Atlas mountains, and we were told that our crew were the first westerners to ever visit their community. We had the best Tajine of the trip with delicious homemade bread when we broke for lunch.
Under playing in Paris

My underwater short film, Under that I shot and directed will play in Michael Shamberg’s Turtle Exhibition in Paris on Oct 21. I’m honored to be a part of his show and excited that the film is going to play.
